A good chunk of our team are combat veterans. Nick, who owns the place, and Coach Josh both are.
So this program is personal for us.
Most of us are basically kids while we're in. Then we get out, and nobody hands us a plan for taking care of ourselves. If we don't find a way to make healthy decisions after the military, we tend to have very short lives. That's not a figure of speech. A lot of the guys and gals we served with didn't find a way.
What turned it around for the vets on this team was getting healthy around good people. So that's what this is: our way of helping vets get their health back and plug back into their community, without money being the reason it never starts.

- 6 months, completely free group class training. We'll even do a couple of 1on1 sessions with you to help acclimate you to the gym environment, same as all of our other members get.
- All the group classes. METCON, HYROX, FLEX, HIIT, FLOW. You pick what fits.
The Beginners Course, which eases you in before you ever touch a regular class.
Weekly check-ins with a coach who knows your name and notices when you don't show to keep you working towards your health goals.
A community of veterans AND civilians. Vets do best in a community of other good people. Burpees suck. Doing burpees with fun people makes them suck way less.
1. Raise your hand. Fill out the short form below. Takes about a minute, and when you hit submit we'll send you straight to the program sign-up page.
2. Screening. We partner with an amazing nonprofit that confirms eligibility and performs a medical screening. That part happens on their side, and it's what unlocks your six months.
3. Your fitness assessment. You sit down with a coach, talk through where you're at, and that counts as Day 1 of your six months.
We get a limited number of these slots each quarter. When they're gone, they're gone until the next round. So if you've been putting this off, now's the time.
We're able to provide the six free months with support from Home Base, a Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital program dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of war for veterans, service members, and their families.
Their Warrior Health and Fitness program covers the cost, so nothing about this comes out of your pocket. Learn more at homebase.org.
The guy in your neighborhood who mentions his deployment once and then changes the subject. The spouse who's been holding her family together for fifteen years and hasn't done a single thing for herself.
Send them this page. You legitimately might save their life.
